All members should be aware by now that the UK have adopted a new set of regulations for model flying that came into effect on 31st Dec 2020.<\/em><\/p>\n

The situation can seem a little complicated and so it is considered essential that all members read (as a minimum) the BMFA document “CAA Article 16 Authorisation \u2013 A guide to the new regulations for model flying”<\/strong>  to understand the background and the key conditions & restrictions associated with the new regulations.<\/em><\/p>\n

It should be noted that within these regulations there is now a requirement from the CAA, for (certain) members to confirm they have read and understood Article 16 authorisation.<\/em><\/p>\n

Please read the above guide, available on the BMFA web site (https:\/\/rcc.bmfa.uk\/article-16)<\/a> and, if applicable, tick the relevant\u201d Opt-in\u201d box in your profile on the BMFA Go-Membership portal (https:\/\/bmfa.azolve.com\/<\/a> ).<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
